Analog Sweden Swen2 Monophonic Desktop Synthesizer. A 90’s rave classic is back and better than ever in the Swen2 from Analog Sweden, a modern reimagining of the legendary Enigiser monosynth that brings the powerhouse synthesizer to modern workflows. Expanding on the original design while condensing down to a compact and travel-ready form factor, the Swen2 goes above and beyond to offer this classic synth voice optimized for modern studios and stages. The raw analog tone is delivered with powerful digital control as well as additional options for sound design like a second digital oscillator, sub octave, and noise source for even more timbral flexibility. The main oscillator features multiple waveforms including the characterful pulse wave and associated PWM control, while the digital oscillator offers a slightly delayed signal that thickens tones like a chorus effect, with detune capabilities for classic rave sounds and more.
In the sub section, you get both a classic -1 octave square sub and a sine sub octave routed directly to the VCA for jungle bass and so much more. As with most monosynths, the Swen2’s captivating character is largely indebted to its rich and flexible filter section. Based on a rare prototype lent to Analog Sweden from the original designs, the Swen2 employs a 12-mode filter that uses four 6dB cells to create diverse filter types.
