The Trig/Clock input allows you to record CV and clock signals in parallel; the input also allows for triggered playback where the gate-high is a play, and gate-low is stop. Output can be switched from unipolar to bipolar and the CV recording source can be internal from the trimpot or external from whatever modulation source you want to patch up.
