The RXR from Modulaire Maritime is a 6-voice stereo PCM drum module built around 298 sounds sourced from classic Japanese drum machines designed to give you a wide palette of sonic delights. Each voice has independent pitch, decay, volume, and stereo pan controls, and the whole thing is navigated through a single rotary encoder with no screen, just LED feedback. Out of the box you get 6 pre-configured drum kits ready to play, each with its own compressor settings and stereo mix. An onboard sidechain compressor adds that classic ducking behavior per-kit, and a soft clipper keeps things from getting ugly when multiple voices hit at once.
Use it in your rack, or if you need a compact percussion solution, it works as a standalone instrument over USB-C power. Bluetooth MIDI is offered for wireless sequencing from a phone, tablet, or computer and the General MIDI drum mapping makes it work with most software right out of the gate. The RXR from Modulaire Maritime makes drums in Eurorack an affordable and compact proposition.
