Tokyo Tape Music Center Pulser Clock Generator. The Pulser module from Tokyo Tape Music Center takes the beloved mini-module on the Buchla Easel and brings it into the Eurorack ecosystem. Sometimes the simplest modules offer the best results and that’s the case with this little friend. It simply sends out a pulse based on the period slider position.
However, it also has a CV input for the period, allowing you to use other modules to affect the pulse rate, making for some very interesting generative patches that can expand and contract with organic tempo fluctuations. A jumper on the back allows the output to turn into a decay envelope, as opposed to a pulse, for interesting percussive duties. At such a small footprint, the Pulser from TTMC is a fantastic way to occupy that little bit of extra space you have to spare.
